Beng Mealea Temple
Step off the beaten path and discover one of Cambodia’s most mysterious temples. Built in the early 12th century during the reign of King Suryavarman II, Beng Mealea is largely unrestored, giving visitors the feeling of exploring a lost city hidden in the jungle.
Walk along wooden pathways through massive stone blocks, ancient galleries, and giant tree roots that have reclaimed the temple over centuries.
